Loosely inspired by Erri De Luca’s In the Name of the Mother, this piece follows a difficult journey—first and foremost an inner one—undertaken by and between two young women, carrying with them the weight of their origins and their stories.
Along the way, painful encounters intertwine with moments of luminous lightness, guiding them in the search for their own House of Bread, a place of peace and freedom.
Through the gaze and the bodies of women who have found a fragile sense of safety, the longing for human shelter, for resilience, and for understanding gradually takes form—rooted in a shared human nature and in an ‘opening into life.
