About me

Lara is an Italian freelance dance artist currently based in Germany. She began her artistic journey studying ballet and modern dance in Sarzana and later continued her education in Germany. She holds a BA from the Folkwang University of the Arts and an MA in Dance Interpretation, which she completed with the highest marks. Over time, she expanded her practice through contemporary dance and physical theatre, developing a transdisciplinary approach that blends movement research, performance-making, and experimentation across different artistic fields.

Her work evolves through international and intercultural exchanges, allowing her to approach movement with openness and adaptability. She has participated in dance and theatre productions in Germany, Austria, Spain, and Italy, engaging with diverse artistic environments that continuously contribute to her development as a performer and creator.

Alongside her performance work, Lara continues to broaden her artistic practice through residencies and interdisciplinary collaborations, deepening her physical vocabulary and expanding her creative methods within the contemporary performing arts landscape.
